The new XD Light is an ultra light weight, on-camera light designed for both DV/HDV and industrial operation.

The XD-L56s contains LED light technology, drawing 6w while outputting the equivalent of 20w of daylight balanced, 5600k light.

The light has a built in sled to accept Sony L-Series batteries, running up to 6 hours from one large capacity battery.

The Light also has a dc input, accepting from 7-17v with the included p-tap cable. An articulating neck allows you to control where the light is positioned.

The light comes standard with both 1/4 20 thread and hot shoe mounting options.
